Hi guys,
As you might know, I’m planning the Christmas gathering for Venturers this holiday season, and I’ve been looking at what some of the other groups are doing for ideas and inspiration. I’m also researching different possible venues. I know you may not be coming out to this party, but if you have time, I’d love to get some feedback on my planning.
The problem with venues is that we don’t know how many people are going to show up. Some of the venues require a minimum number of people before they would let me book it. At least two hotels have this problem. Also, there is a really nice venue along highway 7 - a banquet hall - that would be perfect (it also has karaoke), but normally costs $50 per person, which is a lot of money. I have a plan that might get us in for a lot less but might require you do to some calling around. Let me explain.
