Subject: A question

Hello Norman,

My name is Danny.  I understand that you are an engineer.  I think that’s really cool and my group would be very interested in what you have to say about your experiences working as an engineer.

I’m actually thinking of applying to an engineering program for university, although I’m not sure what kind of engineering would really suit me.  I’m a big fan of aerospace engineering.  How did you decide?  I know you’re working on the Mars Rover with NASA.  I’d love to get involved with something like that in the future.

Anyway, I’m putting together a presentation for my Venturer award and I’d enjoy chatting with you for a few minutes next week, if you’re available.

Thanks,

Danny
