Introduction/Weather and Water

Would you rather visit an ecosystem with more than 50% of all of the known animal and plant life in the world, or just stay cooped up in a room with nothing to do? With its flourishing botany and the most diverse animals, the tropical rainforest is truly a beautiful and interesting ecosystem.
There are many factors that affect the tropical rainforest, like abiotic factors. For example, the main type of weather in the rainforest is rain. There is usually more than 80 in. of rainfall per year. It is a great source of water for trees and other plants, which nourishes them through their leaves or along their trunks and branches. For animals, their source of water comes from rivers that run through the rainforest.
