Today is the day the people of Rome are rebelling against the Etruscans for their poor leadership. I have to lead our army and the original families against the Etruscan king. I am the nephew of the King Tarquin, from marriage. The people were very unhappy with the king and his son, who had raped a noble mans wife. I may be related to the king, but I have no reason to love him, especially considering his carelessness towards the citizens.

The fact that the king's son raped a noble man's wife is not the only reason I am leading this revolt. King Tarquin has disgraced me in many ways. King Tarquin illegally took my fathers money and all of his wealth when he died. He was trying to steal my inheritance, he killed my brother in the process and completely humiliated him by putting him second in command. I have a huge grudge against the king for shaming me and my family for his own gain. Now that I have the chance to get my revenge, and the people are on my side, I can lead the revolt on our horrible tyrant.
