Strait

-Straits can be formed by either the movement of tectonic plates which breaks the land apart, or the overflowing of water that covers a part of the land.
- When a strait forms, another pathway of transportation opens up to humans. A straight is convenient for boats and other water vehicles to pass across to the other side of the land when they wouldn't have been able to before.
- Straits may be devastating for people whose homes and/or businesses once occupied the space where there is no longer any land.
