Throughout the many tough years of changes, texans were still able to make time for fun in their schedules. They enjoyed horse racing, hunting, and fishing. They also appreciated Hispanic cultures, (dances, games, and food) and religious cultures (weddings, baptisms, and revivals). Along with that, they participated in elections, theatrical productions, and read newspapers.
