What happened to create the economic disparity?

The escalating populations have a huge effect on the gap between the rich and the poor. Uganda has the fifth highest growth rate around the world and has grown 3 million from 2011. This growing population causes problems such as more poverty based on the lack of resources needed to support the increasing population. As well, a large dependency rate is occurring because the majority of the population is very young which creates more of a need for health care and education, which is not advancing as fast as the population is.
