Summer

Summer is the hottest of all four seasons, falling between spring and fall. During summer solstice, the days are longer and the nights are shorter.When it is summer in the Northern Hemisphere it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere. Summer is caused by the Northern or Southern Hemisphere receiving more direct sunlight.
