Plant Adaptations

The Deciduous trees will be a thin leave and will change colors in the fall, then eventually fall off. The Evergreen trees are either leave or needle like. They stay like this all year, green and the same shape.

Evergreen examples- Conifers, Live Oak, and Red Cedar.
Deciduous examples- Acer Rubescens "Summer Suprise", Magnolia, and Acer Palmatum "Japanese Maples".

Deciduous trees will change colors or fall off due to the weather changes through out the seasons. But, Evergreen will stay strong and green throughout every season, no matter how hot or cold. This is how these are different.
