Animal Adaptations





Physical Adaptation- When something in the animals body helps it adapt.
Behavioral Adaptation- How a animal acts to adapt to its habitat.
-Camouflage- When an animal hides or changes color to fit in with the background so that it disappears.
-Webbed feet- A animal that is a wet and land animal has webbed feet so that it can swim and can still walk on land.
-Whiskers- The whiskers feel the animals surroundings around its head. Telling it if there is something next to it.
-Sharp Teeth- Sharp Teeth can be used to rip meat off of other animals.
-Scales- Scales help protect the animals body since it doesn't have any feathers or fur.





Physical and Behavioral adaptation are quite different! Physical adaptation is when the animals body helps it adapt to the environment. While behavioral adaptation is how the animal acts to survive in its habitat,
