Erosion

Erosion is something that breaks down in a certain period of time. Weathering is when something is breaken down in a period of time by water, ice, wind, water, or air.

Examples: Ice in between rocks, wind storms hitting a mountain, rocks smoothing in a river (from the water), a glacier rubbing against the ground, and even just walking on a dirt path!
