The Mayans lived on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Off the coast was the Pacific Ocean, The Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean sea. The Mayans had trade routes that went in, around, and out of the peninsula and through Mexico. Northern parts were more flat and dryer then the south.
