Art
The Mayans had a had a particular taste in art. They mainly focused on humans or gods or other activities. For example, the painting to the left shows two Mayans sewing cloth together.

Trade
The Mayans traded with each other connecting the highland civilizations to the lowlands. They did this not only to connect as a true civilization, but also because the highlands could do something that the lowkands couldn't and that was grow good crops. They also traded cacao, jade, cotton, and obsidian.
