Titanium Dioxide and It's Many Uses

Titanium Dioxide could possibly be in everything you are near right now. It is used for the white pigment for paint, paper, plastic, toothpaste, and food coloring. Also, it is put in medicinal tablets, suntan lotion, jewelry, and makeup. The first thing you could say is that is titanium in its longer variation but no it isn't. Titanium dioxide is titanium and oxygen combined together, not just titanium. It has three forms known as brookite, rutile, and anatase. Though you may not find it on the internet too easily unless you accidentally clicked one on only titanium which possibly mentions this, it is everywhere!

Fun Fact!
Titanium dioxide white paint is better than white lead paint because it is healthier to inhale and nontoxic.
