Appearance

Titanium dioxide has a vast range of colors including colorless, white, pale yellow, violet, and black. Though the range is large, it usually pure white. The luster goes from adamantine to sub metallic and has an opaque transparency. Also, it has a white streak.

Fun Fact!
When titanium dioxide is pure, it has an extremely high refraction index with optical dispersion greater than a diamond.
