Human cells have three main regions:
1) the plasma membrane- a fragile barrier that serves as an outer barrier of the cell
2) cytoplasm- the intracellular fluid that contains the organelles which are small structures that preform specific cell functions
3) nucleus- controls cellular activities and lies near the cell''s center
