-The King was in complete control under the Feudal System.
-He owned all the land in the country and decided who he would lease land to (lords).
-Before they were given any land they had to swear an oath to remain faithful to the King at all times A.K.A loyalty.
-The king was in control of the lands and lords but was under the pope
Ex: Henry VIII created a new church because the Pope wouldn't allow him to get a divorce. This shows church authority.
