Cytoskeleton

A skeleton (much like one of a human) of the cell that is contained with cytoplasm

Microtubules

Microtubules are small tubes that are made of protein. They are an active part of the cytoskeleton. Microtubules attach themselves to replicated chromosomes and help pull them apart during cell division.

Microfilaments

Microfilaments are long, thin, string-like proteins. They partner with Microtubules. Together they work to form a structure that helps the cell hold is shape. It also helps the cell move itself and it's organelles. Microfilaments are located everywhere throughout the cell.
