Nucleus

The nucleus holds all of the cell's genetic information and instructions for making proteins an other molecules.
The nucleus is the largest of the cell's organelles. It can be found in both plant and animal cells.

Nucleolus

The nuclear envelope is composed of two membranes, separated by fluid and surrounds the nucleus. It also can be found in both types of cells. It is covered in nuclear pores.

Nuclear Pores

Nuclear pores allow material to pass in and out of the nucleus. They are small, grain-like structures. They resemble the pores on our skin.
