The Origin of the Gypsies
Gypsies descend from a cultural root that led a seminomantic life and performed odd jobs. They were part of the lower class of the India caste. This allowed the culture group that would soon be called Gypsies to flee to Europe when battles threatened the area where they lived.
They became known as Gypsies when they moved to Europe, fleeing from Mahmud of Ghanzi's wars where they settled in Armenia.
