- These deer can grow up to 7.75 feet tall.

-Adults have a reddish brown coat in the summer, but it fades to a grayish brown coat in the winter.

-Females usually give birth to 1-3 fawns, which have a reddish brown coat with white spots.

- Only the bucks grow antlers; these fall off every winter.

-Deer are herbavores.
