Principle of Individuality:
People are genetically different, and so will have different strengths and weaknesses.
Example: Slow twitch vs Fast twitch

Principle of Specificity:
People get better at what they do. Training programs must be tailored to fit the specific sport or goal of the individual.

Principle of Reversibility:
Use it or lose it. If you become detrained you will lose all of your gains

Principle of Progressive Overload:
The workloads placed upon the body must be beyond what the body normally experiences in order to make improvements

Principle of Variation:
Workouts must be varied in order to remain challenging
Change volume, intensity or mode
