Volcano

Most volcanoes are formed when two tectonic plates collide, just like a mountain, forming a peak. At the point the magma reaches the peak and the pressure is too great, it erupts. Also, they can be formed by magma hotspots.

First, volcanoes are good barriers from wind and rain, just like mountains. Second, volcanoes keep the soil in areas very fertile a lot of the time.
