-Describe: Young boy sits at a desk with his left arm supporting his head. Dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt, red and beige vest, and blue pants. Dissatisfied mood. Pops of vibrant colors engulfed by subtle neutrals project a negative mood.
-Analyze: Triangle shape between the little boy's head, right elbow, and right hand. Disproportionate body. Asymmetrical balance. Vibrant colors to add excitement amounts the neutral values. Splotchy brushstrokes, wrinkled texture throughout. Negative space in the upper right hand corner.
-Interpret: The triangle shape between the little boys head, right elbow, and right hand represents the unification between each body part; the little boy is looking at is hand which is disproportionately far away portraying the message that even a simple part of him is so far away. The vibrant red which engulfs the boy's body shows anger and passion in the boys heart. The clothes are wrinkled on the boy because his life is clearly a mess.
-Judgement: I feel involved with this painting because I find it relatable as a teen myself. The painting is so simple yet so complex, just like the life I life everyday. You can see the pain and frustration the boy is trying to unravel by looking in the boy 's eyes. It is visually interesting and fascinating to look at because it has so much background to it and lots of fun color. The artist portrayed many stories which any vier can relate to through this painting.
