In this book it talked about how Oskar and his dad always went on many adventures together. Oskar's dad would put clues in places and Oskar would try to solve a puzzle. That is why Oskar wants to find where the key goes. He wants to find meaning in everything he does. He always asks questions about random facts because he has such an imaginative mind. If he didn't want to find meaning about everything this story wouldn't be happening. It says Oskar and his dad went on "expeditions." This gives Oskar the thought that maybe he is closer to his dad by going on this hunt for where the key goes. He feels maybe he's still with me and we are just on another expedition.
