Color Application: Virgin Lighter

-drape client

-put on gloves

-apply protective cream to hairline

-part hair into 4 quadrants

-prepare appropriate enlightener formula

(place strips of cotton along hairline for guest's comfort to prevent enlightener from touching scalp)

-starting in back quadrants, apply enlightener 1/2" from scalp to midlengths, up to ends

-continue applying this way for all quadrants, reapplying product to prevent drying

-check strand 15 minutes before ending processing time with a damp towel

-remove cotton from scalp and apply to scalp with 1/2" subsections

-work through ends

-process

-rinse with warm water, shampoo gently

-tone is desired
