Being A Nurse During The Civil War...

Wounded soldiers arrived a Washington D.C shortly before the Civil War started. Clara and her sister, Sally, helped them. The soldiers didn't have enough supplies in the war so Clara sent them bandages and medicine. Then Clara travelled around battlefield to battlefield to help wounded soldiers. She was known in the war as the "Angel of the Battlefield" because she was very brave to through the battle field to help the soldiers. She also worked hard to find missing soldiers for their beloved families.
