The Patch

The eight murals were designed by Steve Seaberg and fabricated at The Patch under the direction of Esther Peachy LeFever between 1986 and 1987.

They begin on the retaining wall of the CSX Hulsey Intermodal railroad yard that runs along Wylie street from Carroll street to Krog.

The CSX-Cabbagetown Wall Mural Project (1986 - 1987)

This initiative was an effort to reinvigorate the neighborhood through community art and could be considered foundational to the extensive mural project active on the wall today.
