Passion vs Reason

The author uses imagery and sarcasm to emphasize the conflict between passion and reason, and how it affects the characters and the plot. Passion is a trait commonly shown through Othello, and shows when a person feels very strongly about someone or something. Reason is shown multiple times through the villainous character of Iago as he is very intelligent in how to get into people's heads or manipulate them.
