The Battle of Normandy was fought on the coast of Normandy, France. It started on June 6, 1944 when Eisenhower launched forces against France. About 15,000 aircraft and 7,00 ships coordinated aerial assaults. The battle ended on August 25,1944 with an Allied victory.
