Stereotypes
Stereotypes can be defined as a widely held belief that people have certain characteristics because of their membership in a particular group.
Example: All of the survivors were put in groups and their opponents didn't get to know them as much as their group did, making them draw to conclusions. They thought brawns were tough, and brains very clever, and beauties as someone that wouldn't really have a chance of winning. Even as the groups were separated people still called others by their group names and considered them the same.
