Social Loafing

Definition:

Social loafing refers to each person's tendency to exert less effort in a group because of reduced accountability for individual effort

Social loafing can be demonstrated by Mitchelle. When she was a part of beauty, she didn't really participate. She didn't help with collecting food or water, or built shelter, Tai and Caleb were doing that. Maybe she wasn't strong enough to help, but during competitions against the other groups, she still didn't really participate and when forced to play switched with someone else numerous times.
