Impact

This book has made me realize the horrible tragedies kids in Africa had went through and how they deal with it. It upsets me to think that kids would go through the worst just to stay alive. Although I like how the story first starts out when he was a kid because it although the perspective is the same, I like to see how Ishmael matures into an adult and shares his story to the world. Personally I wouldn't have want to live of I had to deal with what Ishmael dealt with.
