Animal Adaptations


Wild pig track
1.Birds have to migrate. If they are living in a warm climate which begins to get colder they have to go somewhere else. Other reasons would be for food and breeding purposes.
2.A male Peacock spreads it's feathers. It performs this action when it tries to get the attention of a female Peacock to breed.
3.A Skunk sprays when it feels it's in danger. It lets out a foul smelling odor in the form of a wet liquid.
4. A bee will sting a predator if it feels threatened. When it stings the victim the bee dies leaving the stinger in the animal of person.
Animal adaptation-The changes made by living organisms in response to their environment.
Behavioral adaptation-An adaptation that helps enhance their survival or reproduction.It's how they act.
Examples
Structural adaptation- this is when an animal or living thing is adapted to its environment by the way it's body(structure)is built.

Examples
1. A duck has webbed feet. This helps them swim because they act like solid paddles to move throughout water easier.
2.A fish has gills.They help the breathe underwater by exchanging gases to breathe.
3.A bear has claws. Those help them dig into trees and also climb them if they need food or are trying to hide.
4.A chameleon ccan change it's body color. It does this to blend in with the environment if it feels threatened.
