Food in the Trenches During WWI
Towards the beginning of Wwi, the troops received what received to be an okay amount of food each. Day. This was because of the cooks the army hired to supply food to the front lines. Each troop received about 10 ounces of meat and 8 ounces of vegetables each day at the start of WWI. Then as the armies continued to grow in size the cooks just could not meet their prior standards, resulting in each troop receiving even less food than before. Eventually one point during Wwi soldiers only received food nine out of every thirty days.
