Trench conditions

The trenches used during Wwi became the home to soldiers on both sides of the war. However, these trenches were not in any way the ideal home for anyone. The trenches were muddy, rat infested, and had a foul odor because dead bodies were buried near the trenches. On top of all of this many diseases were also spread and contracted in the trenches.

"No Man's Land"

No Man's land was the area in between opposing sides trenches during Wwi. This area did not belong to either side and it had to be crossed when one side decided to attack the other and in some battles it was an area of many casualties.
