Q:What is your marketing/advertising plan the house? Please describe in detail. Open Houses and Brokers Opens. How many would you like to have? How will you protect the home in terms of security and insurance?

A: First I will address the security issue. What I tell all my seller’s is that they need to hide or take away any expensive jewelry, cash (laying around) and medicines. I cannot be everywhere at all times especially during an open house. So, get your valuables in the freezer or a safe! I have only once had something taken and that was medication, so do not worry, but please take precautions in advance.

For brokers opens, I like to have one on the Monday tour and one that Wednesday the first week your home is on the market. After that, I want one every other week or so depending on traffic. As far as public open houses, I think having one each Sunday for the first 3 weeks (if you are OK with that) is a good idea. Our best time is at the beginning. After that, we can pull back if necessary.
