Q: Do you have expertise as a home stager or do you recommend a professional stager and, if so, who (please see below for question on fees)

A: I do not stage myself, although I have a good eye. I have worked with many stagers over the years but for your home I would recommend Eduardo Mendoza with the Enhanced Home. I is one of the few stagers that can also “re-style” your home. By re-style, I mean he will first go through your home and put a sticker on everything that is to be packed up in a POD. Once you have everything he wants out, Eduardo will bring in a few items and sometimes some art to fill in where needed, but for the most part he re-arranges what you have to look better than it ever has. He is an artist! What you need, in my opinion is to take away more than you bring in. When I look at the photos of your living room there is too much furniture and too many knick-knacks. Ditto for the kids rooms (too many things on the walls). Your home’s biggest asset is the great view and the sophisticated feel with those arches and columns. I think that your photo shoot should be in the evening and I would like to have you add string lights in the upper deck. They are inexpensive and will add that hip touch to your home and most importantly, will make your photographs sparkle. I have a handyman that can help you accomplish this as I know we will need to get creative with how to install but found this article as an example, so I’m sure we can rig up something.
