Edward Murrow married Janet Brewster on October 27th, 1934.

Edward became the assistant director of IEE (Institute of International Education) in 1931.

In a recorded series produced by Fred Friendly called, "I Can Hear it Now", Edward was able to say speeches and inform others about historical events. CBS eventually converted the popular show to radio. The segments started showing in 1933 and ended in 1945.
