Raphael was born on April 6, 1483 in Urbino, Italy. In 1494 his father died so he took over his father's workshop painting. In 1500 Pietro vannunci invited Raphael to become his apprentis. In 1503 left his master   and became indépendant , he was strongly influenced by Leonardo da Vinci. In 1507 he made a series of different  figures Of madonas like  (the Madona of the goldfinch). After producing many fine paintings, he died on April 6, 1520 in his 37th birthday.
