When George W. Bush became president of the US there was a lot of terrorism spread throughout the US and people lived in constant fear of an attack, therefore Bush was under a lot of pressure from the United States and had to make many crucial decision throughout his presidency. He did what he thought was right for America even though others may have not approved of his decisions .

If George W. Bush was president during The Depression & WWII he would not have been liked by the people because at the time America was trying to cut down on its spending and create jobs & Bush did not do a very good job at cutting down on Americas spending during his presidency in fact he increased Americas spending by going to war with Iraq. He would have also been disliked by the people of the time because they were trying to avoid war (WWII) and Bush seemed like a president eager to go to war since he declared war on Iraq during his presidency by relying on false information. However Bush would have been liked by the people who were in favor of America fighting in WWII

If I had the same skills as George W. Bush I would have not run for presidency. Although Bush had plenty of political experience since his father was president of the United States he was not very wise at making decisions. Bush was a good governor, as governor he was able to pursue a political career without the stress and burden of a U.S president. If I was Bush I would have stayed the governor of TX or joined the congress that way I could pursue a political career without the stress and burden of a president as Bush did not make the best decisions as president and his decisions affected thousands of people, not just the people of TX. During The Great Depression & WWII I would have put my skills to use by coming up with programs to help the people of America escape poverty and cope with WWII. I would've increased the involvement of women, Indians, and African Americans in society by creating programs that provided them with jobs and financial aid. I also wound have created some sort of compensation for the families that lost someone to WWII
