The first stage of life

Progress before birth:my mom's pregnancy

1.) Germinal stage=first two weeks----> ZYGOTE
Definition: a period of development beginning at conception and lasting through the first 8 weeks;characterized by rapid cell division;implantation occurs; the placenta and body systems form.
My mom was extremely excited especially since I was her first. Her and my dad send out cards to our family members when she found out.

2.) Embryonic stage=2 weeks-2 months------>EMBRYO
Definition:an organism in its early stages of development, especially before it has reached a distinctively recognizable form.
During her pregnancy every time I would kick it would scare her so when she was out in public she would just jump out of no where and people would look at her like she was crazy. Also when she first went baby shopping she thought the clothes looked really weird.

3.) Fetal Stage=2 months-birth----->FETUS
Definition: the last stage of prenatal development, lasting from two months after conception until birth.
My parents named me jennifer because of the famous jennifer Lopez and the name jennifer was really popular in the Hispanic community. Also my middle name is Guadalupe resembling the Virgin Mary.
