THE CITY- Ed Sheeran
This song represents the theme of science and technology and how it can be dangerous and dehumanizing. In the novel, the government uses very advanced technology in order to control the citizen's emotions and interests. They experiment on babies by shocking them so they will not like certain things. The line "don't control what I'm into" relates to Bernard in the beginning of that novel. He is seen as rebellious because he is not like the other people of the New World in his social practices. Also, the city being referred to in the song is London which parallels to one of the main settings being the city of London in the book.
