Cold War affects in U.S.

The Red scare in America was people being afraid of communist Russia. The Cold War caused drills to take place in schools and other public places. Bomb shelters begin to be built by almost everyone. Soviet union spies in America became a great fear. A witchhunt began for communist in the United States and many people were accused that weren't communist. Overall the Cold War caused great fear of communism and atomic warfare.
