The class systems of the Aztecs was that of an extremely strict hierarchy. In their system, individuals were identified as nobles, or what they called pipiltin, commoners, or macehualtin, serfs, or slaves. The noble class consisted of government and military leaders, high level priests, and lords, these higher level people were referred to as tecuhtli. Towards the end of the Aztecs reign they started to develop weapons consisting of copper, rather than obsidian and chert. The rest of the world during this time made their weapons primarily from iron. Additionally, the aztecs made drills, made of reed or bone.
