Formation of the Marist Brothers

Marcellin was so motivated by the Montagne Experience he set out to start a group of brothers to help educate children that don't know about God. Marcellin had a hard time finding anyone to stand up for their Catholic Religion because during the French Revolution, many people were killed for being Catholic. One day he prayed to Mary and asked that if she really wanted him to do that mission. Within a few days a group of 8 Men joined his brotherhood and officially started the Marist brothers.
