3) SCRIPT
It's the text used by the director to enact the performance of a play and is made up of the dialogue, stage directions, the setting and time.
Stage directions - the lines in italics that precede or are interspersed with dialogue. They tell the actors how to perform and move about the stage.
Elizabethan playwrights - unlike modern ones - provided very few stage directions.
