New England Colonies
The New England Colonies consisted of New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. (Maine was a part of Massachusetts.)
Farming- The people in this colony farmed apples and corn. They had to do this through subsistence farming due to the rocky soil. Subsistence farming is when the people farm and keep the food for themselves instead of selling it.
Jobs- Other than being farmers, the New England people also became traders, fishermen, carpenters, and merchants.
