Analysis

The Lord of the Flies speaks these words to Simon. This quote supports the point made in the last quote. This quote says that evil is within all of us and we cannot escape it. The Lord of the Flies is an evil creature, but the evil it represents in each and every one of us is even more harmful than the Lord of the Flies and even the Beast itself. Simon tries to give this information to the other boys but is killed by the evil within them.
