Soccer is the highest risk sport for girls concussions. Concussions are mild traumatic brain injuries that make up about 2-3% of injuries in soccer. A concussion may appear when someone's head hits another object or person. Some symptoms of concussions are confusion, dizziness, memory loss, blurred vision, and drowsiness. To prevent concussions in soccer, You can purchase a head guard or soft helmet made for soccer. ALso, you can make sure you are appropriately dressed for the game and examine to make sure the goals are properly secured.
